The site renovations for this home were constrained by the high perch of the house along a narrow ridge with views towards downtown and to a large pond in the back. Existing retaining walls were repaired and strengthened and a new stair and pathway added for better circulation into and around the house. New plantings were selected which provide visual interest throughout the seasons along with a manageable level of maintenance.
