This English Manor house sits atop of the hill looking out over nearly 3 acres of cultivated gardens. The gardens terrace down the hillside in three levels connected by wide paths of lawn and stone stairs. The mature tree canopy sits above, cascading dappled light over diverse groupings of plants and garden rooms. We worked to blend a large house addition into the existing garden, added a new stone stair to improve access down a steep slope, reconstituting the vegetated screen along the perimeter of the property and introduced new focal points within the garden.
